Warsaw Chopin Airport (WAW)
Warsaw Chopin Airport is Poland’s largest international airport and the closest airport to the city center, located approximately 10 km from the University of Warsaw Main Campus. The airport offers convenient connections to most major European and international destinations.
The easiest way to reach the city center and the congress venue is by public transport. Bus line 175 connects the airport directly with the University area and central Warsaw. Travelers may also use trains and taxis, with the journey typically taking 20–30 minutes depending on traffic.
Warsaw Modlin Airport (WMI)
Warsaw Modlin Airport, located approximately 40 km north of Warsaw, mainly serves low-cost and regional airlines. Travelers can reach the city center using shuttle buses, trains, or taxis. The journey to central Warsaw usually takes around 45–60 minutes.
Warsaw is well connected to major European cities through an extensive railway network. Warsaw Central Station (Warszawa Centralna) provides direct domestic and international rail connections and is located only a short distance from the University of Warsaw. From the station, the venue can be reached easily by metro, bus, tram, or taxi within approximately 10–15 minutes
Warsaw is easily accessible by car via major motorways such as the S2, S7, and A2, connecting the city with key Polish and European destinations. Travelers can reach the city centre (Śródmieście) directly, where the University of Warsaw Main Campus is located on Krakowskie Przedmieście.
From the city outskirts, the drive to the venue usually takes 15–30 minutes depending on traffic.
Warsaw has a modern and efficient public transportation system consisting of metro lines, buses, and trams operating throughout the city. The University of Warsaw Main Campus is conveniently accessible via Metro Line M2 through the Nowy Świat–Uniwersytet station, located within walking distance of the venue.
